Ms Malatji’s efforts have not only saved significant time for the school’s administration team, but they have also honed her attention to detail and reinforced the importance of accurate data in supporting the school’s operations and decision making.   Data-related highlights are the norm in this district, where Mr Machoga says that using DDD to analyse results has seen a steady performance improvement year-on-year for more than four years. Watch this video to see how this district did it!   Ms Dass adds that surprising her educators with information about the progress of their learners and task marks captured is one of the bonuses of using DDD, along with “always having a bird’s eye view of academic performance and curriculum coverage”.

Officials share their data wins
More than 16 000 officials have attended a DDD webinar since January. Were you one of them? Join us next week to hear from a Gauteng West Assessment Official how quality data management enhances your use of DDD. Book by clicking on one of the buttons below or via the DDD Learning Hub.   In October we ran our annual “Net Promoter Score” survey – our benchmark for checking that the dashboard is doing what it needs to. And the answer is positive: results show that 78% of respondents are 80-100% likely to recommend DDD to a colleague. Thanks to all who participated – your input is our most important barometer!   From more accurate submissions to improved pass rates, the roll-out of DDD 2.0 and the Data Summit event, about 400 officials have shared highlights of their data journeys over the past two years, and it makes for inspiring reading. Here are the top 50 submissions …
