Weekly Update 20 December 2021

Welcome to our new weekly update report. We want to keep you informed of our work and answer your questions. We'll include lodgement queue processing times and volumes.
This week
Sea freight queue
For this week, sea freight lodgement turnaround is estimated at 3 - 6 days.
On Monday 20 December, morning, the total sea freight queue (includes Australian lodgements) stood at 1,203 lodgements and TET were processing lodgements due back today at 7:32am
Last week: average turnaround of sea freight lodgement for first submissions was 25:42 hrs (previous week 30:22 hrs) and for second submissions 10:27 hrs (previous week 15:41 hrs)
Airfreight queue
For the coming week, air freight lodgement turnaround is estimated 3 - 12 hours
On Monday 20 December, morning, there were 308 airfreight lodgements in the queue for processing and TET were processing those due back today at 9:00 am
Last week: average turnaround of air freight lodgement for first submissions was 8:50 hrs (previous week 12:13 hrs) and for second submissions 9:52 hrs (previous week 13:09 hrs)
Australia queue
On Monday 20 December, morning, there were 292 Australian specific lodgements, the team is processing consignments due back today at 8am.
Last week:
Average turnaround of air freight lodgement for first submissions was 7:50 hrs (previous week 11:33 hrs) and for second submissions 9:28 hrs (previous week 12:38 hrs).
Average turnaround of sea freight lodgement for first submissions was 23:42 hrs (previous week 23:31 hrs) and for second submissions 10:12 hrs (previous week 13:21 hrs)

There are no interruptions of service with regards to queue processing, ICR processing and phone services. Our normal hours will apply. Urgent lodgement requests can be submitted to manifest@mpi.govt.nz
