Import Health Standard: Vehicles, Machinery, and Parts has been released

Following the consultation period carried out between 30 April and 30 June 2021, The Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) would like to notify you that the Import Health Standard: Vehicles, Machinery, and Parts has been finalised and is now available on:

All proposed changes finalised with no additional changes made to the draft issued for consultation.

On the webpage link you can find:

1. The amended standard;
2. A summary of the changes;
3. A document that responds to the submissions received on the Standard during the consultation period; and
4. A link and guidance for the new Manufacturer’s Declaration template issued by MPI in response to industry feedback received.

Please note, no changes to BMSB management have been made for goods arriving from Italy in a sea container during the 2021/2022 BMSB season.
