Weekly Update 16 November 2020

 

Welcome to our new weekly update report for the BMSB season. We want to keep you informed of our work and answer your questions. We'll include lodgement queue processing times and volumes.

This week

Sea freight queue

For this week, sea freight lodgement turnaround is estimated at 1- 6 days.

On Monday 16 November, morning, the total sea freight queue (includes Australian lodgements) stood at 818 lodgements and TET are processing lodgements slightly ahead of operational performance targets.

Last week:  average turnaround of sea freight lodgement for first submissions was 22:56 hrs (previous week 23:18hrs) and for second submissions 5:42 (previous week 6:31hrs)

 

Airfreight queue

For the coming week, air freight lodgement turnaround is estimated 3- 7 hours

On Monday 16 November, morning, there were 9 airfreight lodgements, the team is processing slightly ahead of operational performance targets. 

 Last week:  average turnaround of air freight lodgement for first submissions was 4:10hrs (previous week 5:24hrs) and for second submissions 3:55 (previous week 5:00 hrs).

 

Australia queue

On Monday 16 November, morning, there were 172 Australian specific lodgements, the team is processing ahead of operational performance targets. 

 Last week:

 Average turnaround of air freight lodgement for first submissions was 4:48 hrs (previous week 5:15 hrs) and for second submissions 4:02hrs (previous week 5:16hrs).

Average turnaround of sea freight lodgement for first submissions was 22:51 (previous week 21:49hrs) and for second submissions 6:06 hrs (previous week 5:41hrs).

We have a client who is importing New Track Dumpers from Hakata, Japan.  Could you please confirm if they require fumigation for Stink Bug prior to shipping?
