Weekly Update 16 March 2021

Welcome to our new weekly update report for the BMSB season. We want to keep you informed of our work and answer your questions. We'll include lodgement queue processing times and volumes.

This week

Sea freight queue

For this week, sea freight lodgement turnaround is estimated at 3 - 6 days.

On Monday 15 March, morning, the total sea freight queue (includes Australian lodgements) stood at 812 lodgements and TET were processing lodgements due back Monday at 10am

Last week:  average turnaround of sea freight lodgement for first submissions was 19:14 hrs (previous week 19:59 hrs) and for second submissions 3:41 hrs (previous week 4:38 hrs)

Airfreight queue

For the coming week, air freight lodgement turnaround is estimated 3-7 hours

On Monday 15 March, morning, there were 37 airfreight lodgements in the queue for processing and TET were processing lodgements due back 8am Monday.

Last week:  average turnaround of air freight lodgement for first submissions was 2:38 hrs (previous week 3:41 hrs) and for second submissions 2:06 hrs (previous week 2:58 hrs)

Australia queue

On Monday 15 March, morning, there were 145 Australian specific lodgements, the team is processing consignments due back Monday at 10am

Last week:

 Average turnaround of air freight lodgement for first submissions was 2:28 hrs (previous week 3:37 hrs) and for second submissions 2:19 hrs (previous week 3:20 hrs).

Average turnaround of sea freight lodgement for first submissions was 19:35 hrs (previous week 15:53 hrs) and for second submissions 3:12 hrs (previous week 3:20 hrs)
