Weekly Update 13 July 2021

Welcome to our new weekly update report for the BMSB season. We want to keep you informed of our work and answer your questions. We'll include lodgement queue processing times and volumes.

This week

Sea freight queue

For the coming week, sea freight application turnaround is estimated at 3-7 days.

On Monday 12 July , morning: the total sea freight queue (includes Australian applications) stood at  938 applications  due back today 7.06am, TET are processing 3.5 hours behind operational performance  targets .

 

Airfreight queue

For the coming week, air freight application turnaround is estimated 3-9 hours

On Monday 12 July, morning: there were 455  airfreight applications due back 12 July 7.25am , TET are processing 3.5 hours behind operational performance targets. 

 

Australia queue

For the coming week, Australia container applications turnaround is estimated at 3-5 days. 

On Monday 12 July , morning: the Australian queue had 257  applications, TET are processing 3.5 hours behind operational performance targets.

 

Pressure point:

  • To help us prioritise your urgency requests to the manifest inbox , we ask that you use the following subject header line (if applicable): “Urgent application: demurrage / perishable items/ dangerous goods/ thermograph “ (Select one).  E.g. - Urgent Application: perishable items.

    Please avoid lodging an application and then immediately using the manifest inbox without a good reason for the delay in submitting the lodgement.
