Weekly Update 11 February 2021
Welcome to our new weekly update report for the BMSB season. We want to keep you informed of our work and answer your questions. We'll include lodgement queue processing times and volumes.
This week
Sea freight queue
For this week, sea freight lodgement turnaround is estimated at 3 - 6 days.
On Wednesday 10 February, afternoon, the total sea freight queue (includes Australian lodgements) stood at 2,564 lodgements and TET were processing lodgements due back on the 9 February at 1:50pm
Last week: average turnaround of sea freight lodgement for first submissions was 32:31 hrs and for second submissions 9:20 hrs.
Airfreight queue
For the coming week, air freight lodgement turnaround is estimated 3-14 hours
On Wednesday 10 February, afternoon, there were 646 airfreight lodgements, the team were processing lodgements due back on 9 February at 2:15pm
Last week: average turnaround of air freight lodgement for first submissions was 9:05 hrs and for second submissions 7:26 hrs
Australia queue
On Wednesday 10 February, afternoon, there were 430 Australian specific lodgements, the team processing applications due back at 9 February at 2:30pm
Last week:
Average turnaround of air freight lodgement for first submissions was 9:27 hrs and for second submissions 6:40 hrs.
Average turnaround of sea freight lodgement for first submissions was 29:47 hrs and for second submissions 8:40 hrs.
