Weekly Update 23 February 2021

Welcome to our new weekly update report for the BMSB season. We want to keep you informed of our work and answer your questions. We'll include lodgement queue processing times and volumes.

This week

Sea freight queue

For this week, sea freight lodgement turnaround is estimated at 3 - 6 days.

On Monday 22 February, morning, the total sea freight queue (includes Australian lodgements) stood at 868 lodgements and TET are processing lodgements due back today at 8am

Last week:  average turnaround of sea freight lodgement for first submissions was 24:13 hrs (previous week 32:45 hrs) and for second submissions 7:09 hrs (previous week 10:50 hrs)

Airfreight queue

For the coming week, air freight lodgement turnaround is estimated 3-10 hours

On Monday 22 February, morning, there were 272 airfreight lodgements, the team was processing applications due back at 8:30am. 

Last week:  average turnaround of air freight lodgement for first submissions was 7:20 hrs (previous week 13:08 hrs) and for second submissions 5:51 hrs (previous week 9:44 hrs)

Australia queue

On Monday 22 February, morning, there were 272 Australian specific lodgements, the team is processing consignments due back today at 9:30am.

Last week:

Average turnaround of air freight lodgement for first submissions was 6:51 hrs (previous week 12:03 hrs) and for second submissions 5:01 hrs (previous week 9:21 hrs).

Average turnaround of sea freight lodgement for first submissions was 21:52 hrs (previous week 28:50 hrs) and for second submissions 6:31 hrs (previous week 9:01 hrs)
