Wise: the voice of older Western Australians
Wise: The voice of older Australians, is a free exhibition at the Perth Town Hall running from 21 to 27 November.
Featuring the work of one of Australia’s foremost portrait photographers, Steve Wise, and brought to you by Juniper, Wise celebrates older Western Australians and the amazing lives they are leading by exploring their stories, views, and hopes for the future.
Alongside each stunning portrait are the subject’s fascinating and touching personal stories.

$15 for a pack of eight cards, with two of each design, and eight recycled paper envelopes. Each card design reflects a traditional Advent theme.
Intergen Advent & Christmas Resources
An intergenerational resource for Advent 1-4 and Christmas Day.
Intergen is a non-denominational group that promotes intergenerational worship materials based on the lectionary. Materials can be downloaded for free or by a self-determined donation to keep the group running.
What is Presbytery?
New booklet available!
This newly revised booklet was launched at the November Presbytery meeting. It helps explain the role of the Presbytery in Uniting Church WA and also introduces key members of our Presbytery of WA team.
The booklet is available to download from the Presbytery section of the UCWA website.
Retired Ministers FellowshipThe next meeting of the Retired Ministers Fellowship will be on Tuesday 19 November, 10.30am at Trinity College UWA, Hampden Rd, Nedlands. The meeting will be in The Fellows room on the first floor, there is a lift available. The speaker will be the WA Synod General Secretary, Rev Dr Andrew Williams. - Pastoral Statement on the passing of Rev Dr Michelle Cook (UCA) - The Uniting Church Assembly mourns the tragic loss of Uniting Church Deacon and Moderator-elect of the Northern Synod Rev Dr Michelle Cook. UCA President Rev Charissa Suli has released a pastoral statement.
The Uniting Church Northern Synod has announced that Michelle’s Funeral and Service of Thanksgiving will be held on Thursday 14 November at 10.30am ACST at Nightcliff Uniting Church in Darwin. (9am AWST, 11am AEST, 11:30am ACDT, 12pm AEDT). The service will be live-streamed via this link
- Social Justice Advent Resources (UCA Vic/Tas) - A resource from the Justice and Mission Cluster, UCA Synod of Vic/Tas is for congregations and faith communities seeking to include social justice content to their Advent services and activities.

Celebrating 75 years of Juniper - To celebrate and give thanks for Juniper’s 75th anniversary please join us for a service to commemorate this milestone on Wednesday 27 November, 2.00pm at Noranda Uniting Church. The service will be led by Rev Chris Crause, and the Moderator Rev Dr Ian Tozer will deliver the sermon.
Wembley Downs Uniting Church 50th Anniversary - Wembley Downs Uniting Church is celebrating! It has been 50 years since the opening of the Wembley Downs Uniting Church building and they are having a service on Sunday 1 December, 9.30am to celebrate. There will be input from Rev Geoff Blyth, Rev Neville Watson, Rev Marion McMillin, and Karen Sloan, who have all journeyed with the congregation over the years. Morning Tea to follow.
Treasure Market - The next Treasure Market at Maylands Mt Lawley Uniting Church will be held on Saturday 16 November from 9.00am until 12noon. Devonshire teas are popular, as is the Boobook room with many books for sale. Browse the toys, clothes, jewellery, shoes etc. or find some plant bargains in the courtyard.

In this position you'll find creative and engaging ways to share the national story of the faith, mission and ministry of one of Australia's largest churches. You'll be curating and writing stories, delivering a national newsletter and working across social platforms.
