Plant of the Week:
Rock 'N Grow® 'Lemonjade' Sedum

Rock 'n Grow Lemonjade Sedum

Looking for late-season color that bees and butterflies will love? Rock 'N Grow® 'Lemonjade' sedum (Zones 3–9) is a sturdy, compact stonecrop with chartreuse buds that open into soft yellow blooms in late summer and fall. Unlike taller sedums, it won’t flop, making it perfect for borders or containers. As flowers age, they take on a rosy tint, extending the show well into autumn. Photo by: Proven Winners.

Linda

I saw a meme the other day of a frazzled gardener listening to a cheerful nursery worker saying, “Fall is the best time to plant!” The look on her face said it all—equal parts exhaustion and disbelief. I get it! It's easy to want to call it quits after a long, hot summer in the garden, but once the temps cool a bit and the plants start to rebound, so do I. Are you in fall planning mode or ready to throw in the towel?

Happy gardening!
