Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) Providers Worker Retention Grant Payment Amount: $3.6 billion to support the 15 per cent wage increase over two years

Financial Wellbeing and Capability Activity - Emergency Relief Amount: $345 million
Closing Date: December 2024
Purpose: The Australian Government is inviting organisations to apply for funding under the Financial Wellbeing and Capability Activity – Emergency Relief program, through an open competitive grant process. This funding supports may include food parcels, clothes or vouchers, such as for supermarket items, utilities or petrol. The program aims to help people manage their immediate crisis, refers people to other relevant services and encourages greater self-reliance. For more information: Click here

Financial Wellbeing and Capability Activity - Food Relief Amount: $20.1 million
Closing Date: December 2024
Purpose: Food Relief is a national financial crisis response program that increases access to a cost-effective supply of food and/or material aid for Emergency Relief providers. This is through: - Receiving and redistributing donated food and/or material aid (including new or unused stock)
- Producing, sourcing and transporting food and/or material aid to Emergency Relief providers.
Material aid may include
toiletries, personal hygiene products, cleaning products, blankets, clothing, school supplies and essential white goods. For more information: Click here

Financial Wellbeing & Capability Activity Grant -Financial Wellbeing Hubs Amount: $95.1 million
Closing Date: Undisclosed
Purpose: Financial Wellbeing Hubs will provide integrated, co-located financial wellbeing services, with a strong focus on early intervention and financial capability. Integrated services will include financial counselling and financial capability, Emergency Relief and access to Microfinance products, and will focus on supporting individuals to increase their financial and digital literacy and longer-term financial resilience. Housing Australia Future Fund - Crisis and Transitional Accommodation Program Amount: $100 million
Closing Date: 13 November 2024
Purpose: To deliver the biggest investment in social housing for crisis and transitional housing options for women and children experiencing family and domestic violence and older women at risk of homelessness in more than a decade. These grants are aimed at establishing new buildings, purchases, or remodels and expansions that increase the stock of crisis and transitional accommodation in Australia. Purpose: Supporting innovative small to medium enterprises (SMEs) and startups to commercialise their ideas and grow their businesses. There are two matched funding grant opportunities: - $50,000 - $250,000 to support early-stage commercialisation projects

Long Tan Bursary Amount: $12,000

Purpose: The Long Tan Bursary helps eligible children and grandchildren of Vietnam veterans pay for their tertiary education. Marking First World War Private Graves Grants Program Amount: $620 per grave

Saluting Their Service Commemorative Grant Program Amount: $10,000 - $150,000

Purpose: Ex-service organisations, community groups, councils and schools can apply for funding for projects that preserve Australia's wartime heritage and highlight the service and sacrifice of our Defence personnel. Projects may include: - Development of a digital honour roll
- Restoration of an honour board
- Purchase of a cabinet to display military memorabilia
- Installation of a flagpole to display Australian National Flags on days of commemoration

School Student Broadband Initiative Amount: Access 12 months free broadband

Purpose: To provide up to 30,000 families with no internet at home free NBN for 12 months. To be eligible, a family must: - Have a child living at home that is enrolled in an Australian school.
- Have no active broadband service over the NBN network.

Simpson Prize Reward: 8 winners will travel to an overseas destination for an extensive commemorative study tour culminating in Anzac Day ceremonies at that location.

Strengthening Social Cohesion Grants Amount: $12.25 million

Purpose: To support Australian Palestinian, Muslim and other communities affected by the Hamas-Israel conflict. The first round of funding will provide $12.25 million for affected Palestinian, Muslim and other communities, including: - $7 million for national programs addressing social cohesion impacts felt across communities in Australia;
- $1.25 million to expand and enhance existing social cohesion projects; and
- $4 million for community-led grass roots programs.

Deadly Deposit Grant Amount: $10,000

Purpose: The Deadly Deposit Grant program is a financial grant that can match people's savings towards their deposit, up to $10,000. Deposit savings may be made up of money in the bank, cash, and other sources including inheritance.

Home Buyer Booster Grant Amount: $2,500
Closing Date: Ongoing
Purpose: To help with some of the expenses associated with buying a property, like legal and administrative costs. This grant can be used for expenses such as: - Legal fees including the administrative costs of buying a property, and preparing a will
- Property valuations
- Home and contents insurance
- Surveying costs
- Pest and building inspections
- Stamp duty (for non-housing tenants). Aboriginal people living in social housing are exempt from Stamp Duty as per Section 278 of the Duties Act 1997 (NSW).
- Any unspent funds can be used towards other costs associated with buying a home (e.g. moving costs)

Purpose: The Surf Club Facility Program aims to assist eligible Surf Life Saving Clubs throughout NSW to create new and upgraded inclusive and accessible facilities. Tertiary Health Study Subsidies Amount: $12,000

Purpose: Are you a student enrolled in a health care degree? You can now apply for up to $12,000 in subsidies to support you in your studies!
This initiative will create a future pipeline of health workers with up to 850 nursing students, 400 medical students and 150 midwifery students expected to enter the subsidy program each year. For more information: Click here

Let’s Fish Lake Mac 2024 Amount: $25,000

Purpose: This is a recognition and shines the spotlight on individuals who make a positive impact to their local community or environment. Community members nominate their heroes. The successful hero for each of the 42 Westfield Centres is awarded a $20,000 grant for the organisation or group they represent, and each finalist receives a $5,000 grant for their organisation or group.
