There's SO much happening at Rockpoint Kids!
Aug 30th; 9 & 10:30AM—Parent/Child Communion Class (Grades 1-5): Instead of our regular elementary classes, parents are invited to join us as Pastor Wendy teaches about the ordinance of communion. We’ll talk about the Passover meal, Jesus’ last supper and how we observe communion at Rockpoint. At least one parent/guardian should attend with your child.
No registration is required.
Sept 13; 12:15-1:30PM--Fall Kickoff Lunch: Attention all Sunday AM Rockpoint Kids Leaders & Helpers--we’d love to have YOU at our kickoff lunch! Join us right after the 10:30AM service as we talk as a large group about what it means to “Level Up” as a leader. We’ll then divide up into our specific ministry areas.
Sept 15; 6:30-8PM—Awana Leader Round Up: Break out your cowboy hats and boots and join us for a night of teaching and encouragement! If you haven’t registered yet as an Awana leader for the 2026-27 year, please click here before reading on! Next, please join us on the 15th as we talk about schedules, theme nights and how to have an amazing Awana night. If you’re brand new to Awana, we’ll have special rookie breakout group, just for you!
Sept 22; 6:30-8PM—Awana Begins: Awana is open to all children ages 3 (or entering kindergarten Fall of 2028) – 5th grade. Large group teaching, small group time in God’s Word, scripture memorization and games all help to give kids a greater understanding of what it means to know, love and serve Jesus.
Oct 11; 9 & 10:30AM--Child Dedication Sunday: A special service during which parents promise before God and the congregation to raise their child in a godly home, praying that one day he or she will choose to follow Jesus as their Savior. This is more than just a sweet time, but a meaningful first step on your child’s faith path. Parents are required to take our Child Dedication Class on Sunday, Sept 27 at 9AM.
Oct 11; 5-6PM—First Bible Class: This parent/child class is for all 1st graders and any 2nd graders who might not have been able to attend our class last fall. During this fun and interactive class, we’ll learn how and why the Bible was written, how to look up verses and talk about the special features of their new NIrV Adventure Bible. We’d love to have you join us. RSVP by Oct 5th.
