Use this 5-day plan to guide you on a journey towards finding inner peace and fulfilment through God's grace. You can access them on the YouVersion app or website. Fulfillment: Allowing God to Meet Our NeedsA 5-day reading plan from Good Servants Enterprises LLC. Memory Verse
"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." John 10:10 NIV Prayer Teaching
Breath PrayersSara Jukes Breath prayers are short, simple prayers you can practise anywhere, at any time. They’re a great way to bring a deeper connection, to help you to fix your eyes on Jesus, and to create space for peace. Breath prayers are short phrases that you repeat whilst inhaling and exhaling, creating a powerful experience and helping you to focus on a scripture, truth or promise. Meditating in this way, creates a closer relationship with God and provides help when we are battling through intrusive thoughts, deep-rooted lies, stress and anxiety. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 tells us to, “pray without ceasing” and breath prayers can help make this scripture a reality; creating a way to pray whilst travelling, at work etc. You can walk and talk with God as simply as breathing out and breathing in. Here are a few examples of phrases you can use as Breath Prayers and their scripture reference:
Practical / Prayer Steps
Step 1: Find a quiet, comfortable space Step 2: Choose a phrase to inhale (e.g. "the Lord is my shepherd") and another to exhale (e.g. "I shall not want") Step 3: Inhale and exhale the phrase Step 4: Repeat and allow the rhythm and words to connect you with God and bring you peace. |
