Welcome to our new look ANZUP Monthly UPdate. By combining our monthly Trial UPdate with ANZUP news and events we hope to deliver you, our members, with timely and targeted communications.

March was been a busy month for both ANZUP and our trials. Our PCR-MIB study is close to reaching its target milestone with 25 of 30 patients recruited. The DASL-HiCaP trial continues to recruit well in Australia and the first patient was randomised in New Zealand during March. We are looking forward to the study opening up in Canada, UK and USA in the near future. Our BCG+MM and ENZA-p studies also recruited well, with an additional 11 patients each randomised.

In other ANZUP news, this month we are holding two Concept Development Workshops: BUP (28 April) and Germ Cell (30 April), followed by Translational Research (7 May) and Prostate (14 May) and Renal Cell (25 June). If you have any concepts you wish to present please ensure you send through your form two weeks' prior to the meeting. You can read more information on our website here.

Next month the Below the Belt #MoveYourWay Challenge is back and we are really hoping ALL our members will get involved in some way either participating or supporting. This week we are offering a Buy One Get One FREE registration - so make sure
you sign up and get moving in May – anyway, anytime and with anyone.

Be part of the challenge that improves your fitness, raises awareness of the incredible work you do and helps ANZUP fund future clinical trials for below the belt cancers via the Below the Belt Research Fund. Make your registration count.

A huge thank you once again to all the PI’s and trials teams for your ongoing efforts and to all the patients who take part in our trials.

We hope you enjoy ANZUP’s Monthly April UPdate.

#MoveYourWay this May - Buy One Get One FREE

This May, choose how you move, your distance or time goal, and raise vital funds for cancer research. Until Sunday 11 April we are offering a 'buy one, get one free' offer, so sign up today and you can #MoveYourWay with a friend, colleague or family member!

"The #MoveYourWay challenge is a great way to show your support for people affected by “below the belt” genitourinary cancers, all while getting fit and having fun. Our first challenge in 2020 made a great difference for these people, and we want to build on that even more.”

Professor Ian Davis, ANZUP Chair
