 And more!

Hi everyone,

We have successfully closed off another financial year, and on behalf of the CheckUP team, we would like to thank all of our providers for your hard work and contribution over the past 12 months.

2023-2024 contracting process has now commenced. New Outreach Agreements will be issued for providers who have completed the registration process and met all clinical governance requirements.

For CheckUP providers who have already executed their new Outreach Agreements, please allow 5 business days for your services to be uploaded in the report portal (OMS).
Following this, we ask that you enter visit dates into the Outreach Provider Portal for at least the next three months. Once visits are completed, it is important to submit your Outcome Reports via the Portal within 10 business days of the visit to receive your payment.

Please let us know of any changes to delivery modes or your ability to complete scheduled visits within 10 business days of the change in circumstances, and before you submit Outcome Reports via the Portal.

If you have any questions, please get in touch by speaking to your Regional Coordinator or emailing outreachservices@checkup.org.au.

We'd also like to remind you that our 2023 CheckUP Outreach Forum and 25th Anniversary Gala Dinner will be taking place on Friday 8 September 2023. Further details about how to register can be found below. We look forward to your presence and participation at these events.

We have extended the deadline for submitting Expressions of Interest (EOIs) to present at the CheckUP Outreach Forum. You now have until the close of business on Monday, 24 July, to submit your EOIs. We strongly encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to share your valuable work with our audience.

Finally, we want to inform you that Aidan Hobbs our General Manager, Health Services - Planning and Reporting will be concluding his time at CheckUP this month. We thank Aidan for all his work, commitment and dedication to Outreach Services over the last 8 years and wish him the best for his future endeavours.

We hope you all enjoy reading this edition of Reaching Out.

Kind regards,

Elise Gorman

A message from Aidan as he farewells CheckUP

This month marks the end of my time with the incredible CheckUP team as I move to a new role at Western Queensland PHN. My career in rural and remote health began in 2010 as a graduate podiatrist, where I witnessed firsthand the barriers to accessible healthcare in remote communities.

Upon joining CheckUP in 2015, my aim was to contribute to enhancing healthcare access across Queensland and provide Outreach Providers with the support they needed to meet the complex needs of the communities they serve. Over the last 8 years, I am proud to have been part of the CheckUP team. It has been great to witness the impact that collaboration and dedicated healthcare professionals can have on communities.

To all outreach service providers, I encourage you to continue your valuable work in ensuring equitable healthcare access. Lastly, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the CheckUP team for the experiences and connections I have gained over the past 8 years.
