Artists’ Benevolent Fund

Amount: $2,000
Closing Date: Ongoing
Purpose: To provide immediate assistance following a disaster or catastrophic event in their lives. Pending the capacity of the fund, the panel may consider larger amounts as appropriate to the need of the beneficiary.

Australia-China Relations 2025-26  Grants Program

Amount:  $100,000 - $500,000
Closing Date: 30 June 2025
Purpose: To provide grants to develop, promote and strengthen understanding and engagement between Australia and China, including business and community stakeholders, in support of Australia’s national interests.

Cancer Patient Care Program

Purpose: To co-fund energy efficiency and electrification upgrades for local governments to deliver reduced energy bills and emissions from local government owned and/or operated facilities.

Dog & Bone Pro Bono Impact Round: Telco Cost Reduction

Amount: $995

Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) Providers Worker Retention Grant Payment

Amount: $3.6 billion to support the 15 per cent wage increase over two years
Closing Date: 30-Sep-2026 
Purpose: Providers can apply to receive grant funding to support a 15 per cent pay increase for eligible ECEC workers over two years from the Australian Government.

Export Market Development Grants

Amount: $30,000 - $80,000

Purpose: To bring benefits to Australia by encouraging the creation, development, expansion and diversification of foreign
markets for Australian products.

  • Tier 1 up to $30,000 per financial year
  • Tier 2 up to $50,000 per financial year

Financial Wellbeing & Capability Activity Grant -Financial Wellbeing Hubs

Amount: $95.1 million
Closing Date: Undisclosed
Purpose: Financial Wellbeing Hubs will provide integrated, co-located financial wellbeing services, with a strong focus on early intervention and financial capability. Integrated services will include financial counselling and financial capability, Emergency Relief and access to Microfinance products, and will focus on supporting individuals to increase their financial and digital literacy and longer-term financial resilience.

Global Health Initiative – 2025 Mental Health and Climate Change Grant Opportunity

Amount: $250,000 - $2 million
Closing Date: 23 July 2025
Purpose: To develop knowledge and tools for addressing threats to Australia’s national health security from regional and global challenges.

Industry Growth Program

Amount:  $50,000 - $5 million
Closing Date: Undisclosed
Purpose: Supporting innovative small to medium enterprises (SMEs) and startups to commercialise their ideas and grow their businesses. There are two matched funding grant opportunities:

  • $50,000 - $250,000 to support early-stage commercialisation projects
  • $100,000 - $5 million for commercialisation and growth projects.

Long Tan Bursary

Amount: $12,000
Closing Date: Ongoing
Purpose: The Long Tan Bursary helps eligible children and grandchildren of Vietnam veterans pay for their tertiary education. Each year 37 bursaries are awarded to successful applicants across Australia. Each bursary is worth up to $12,000 over 3 years of continuous full-time study.

Mental Health and Climate Change Grant

Amount: $3 million 
Closing Date: 25 June 2025
Purpose:  To provide grants of financial assistance to support medical research and medical innovation projects that, through co-design with consumers and health services, develop scalable and sustainable interventions to mitigate the impact of climate change on Australians’ mental health.

MRFF National Critical Research Infrastructure Initiative - 2024 Clinical Trial Enabling Infrastructure

Amount: $300,000 - $7 million
Closing Date: 17 July 2025
Purpose: The 2024 Clinical Trial Enabling Infrastructure grant opportunity focuses on promoting development and implementation of ‘adaptive platform’ and ‘registry based’ clinical trials which are thought to offer more efficient evaluation of potential medical therapies over conventional trial designs.

National Housing Infrastructure Facility Crisis and Transitional Housing (NHIF CT) Program Expression of Interest

Amount:  $1 billion
Closing Date: 5 January 2026 or when grant and loan amounts are fully allocated. 
Purpose: The NHIF Crisis and Transitional (NHIF CT) is a demand-driven program that provides grants and loans to deliver housing solutions for vulnerable Australians, including women and children experiencing family and domestic violence, and youth at risk of, or experiencing, homelessness.

NHMRC Development Grants 

Amount: $16.5 million

Purpose: To increase rates of translation of health and medical research into commercial outcomes, resulting in improved health and medical knowledge

Saluting Their Service Commemorative Grants

Amount: $10,001 - $150,000
Closing Date: Undisclosed
Purpose: Ex-service organisations, community groups, councils and schools can apply for funding for projects that preserve Australia's wartime heritage and highlight the service and sacrifice of our Defence personnel. Projects may include:

  • Development of a digital honour roll
  • Restoration of an honour board
  • Purchase of a cabinet to display military memorabilia
  • Installation of a flagpole to display Australian National Flags on days of commemoration

School Student Broadband Initiative

Amount: Access 12 months free broadband
Closing Date: 30 June 2028
Purpose: To provide up to 30,000 families with no internet at home free NBN for 12 months. To be eligible, a family must:

  • Have a child living at home that is enrolled in an Australian school.
  • Have no active broadband service over the NBN network.

Social Enterprise Capability Building Grants Program

Amount: $120,000 
Closing Date: June 2026
Purpose: Provides funding to social enterprises to help them become more efficient and effective in delivering social benefits to vulnerable Australians.

Purpose: To fund projects aimed at reducing the impact of cancer and providing better support for people affected by cancer​

Urban Precincts & Partnerships Program (uPPP)

Amount: $500,000 - $5 million.
Closing Date: Ongoing
Purpose: To develop a precinct idea through to investment-ready stage in partnership with local stakeholders to benefit regional communities. State and Territory governments, local governments, regional universities, not-for-profit organisations, including indigenous organisations are eligible to apply.

STATE GRANTS

 

Deadly Deposit Grant

Amount:  $10,000
Closing Date: Ongoing
Purpose: The Deadly Deposit Grant program is a financial grant that can match people's savings towards their deposit, up to $10,000. Deposit savings may be made up of money in the bank, cash, and other sources including inheritance.

This grant is open to Aboriginal people who are in the process of buying a home. Applications open to social housing tenants.

Energy Consumer Australia

Amount:  $15,000
Closing Date: Ongoing
Purpose: To enable residential or small business consumer advocacy by participation in current or forthcoming government, regulatory, or industry decision-making processes, or for small, targeted research projects.

Home Buyer Booster Grant

Amount:  $2,500
Closing Date: Ongoing
Purpose: To help with some of the expenses associated with buying a property, like legal and administrative costs. This grant can be used for expenses such as:

  • Legal fees including the administrative costs of buying a property, and preparing a will
  • Property valuations
  • Home and contents insurance
  • Surveying costs
  • Pest and building inspections
  • Stamp duty (for non-housing tenants). Aboriginal people living in social housing are exempt from Stamp Duty as per Section 278 of the Duties Act 1997 (NSW).
  • Any unspent funds can be used towards other costs associated with buying a home (e.g. moving costs)

National Carers Week 2025 NSW Grants

Amount: $200 - $500
Closing Date: 23 June 2025
Purpose:  Grants of $200 to $500 for carer support groups and organisations to celebrate and recognise the contribution of family and friend carers in their communities, by holding local events and activities during National Carers Week (12-18 October).

P&C Transition Grant 2024-25

Amount: $10,000
Closing Date: 30 June 2025
Purpose: To support approved OOSH services that have transitioned to P&C ownership as a result of the recent provider Category Review.

Regional Event Fund – Event Development 

Amount: $50,000
Closing Date: Ongoing
Purpose: To support events in regional NSW to grow visitation and increase economic benefits to destinations. The Event Development stream supports the strategic growth of proven events as drivers of tourism.

Service Reform and Innovation Grant - HIF 

Amount: $15 million
Closing Date: Ongoing
Purpose: The Homelessness Innovation Fund (HIF) will initially target reducing the current demand and costs of temporary accommodation, and proposals for service reform and innovation.

Voucher Programs for Primary School Students

Amount: $100 
Closing Date: Undisclosed
Purpose: The NSW Government offers vouchers to help cover the costs of your child's activities. Find out more about the programs and how to apply. Eligible parents, guardians and carers of school-aged children can now apply for Active and Creative Kids vouchers. The voucher:

  • Is valued at $50
  • Is available twice a year, in terms 1 and 3 for each eligible child
  • Can be used for eligible active or creative activities with registered providers.

LOCAL GRANTS

 

Central Coast Council - Community Grant Programs

Amount: $5,000 - $20,000
Closing Date: 30 June 2025. 

Community Development Grant Program - A program dedicated to supporting community organisations to implement projects and activities that provide community outcomes and enhance the quality of life of residents on the Central Coast. A total annual program allocation of $300,000.

Community Events and Place Activation Grant Program - A program which aims to support local organisations to host community events that activate public spaces and bring the community together. A total annual program allocation of $300,000.

Community Support Grant Program - A program to support the community to deliver activities which require a small amount of funding. This program is available all year round (opening on the first day and closing on the last day of each month) and provides up to $5,000 per application. A total annual program allocation of $300,000.

Purpose: Funding  for initiatives that align to one or more of the Bupa Foundation’s focus areas:

  • Healthy planet, healthy people: Supporting a healthy planet for healthy people

Carman’s Trees for Bees Community Tree Grants

Amount: $500 x 20
Closing Date: 18 July 2025
Purpose: 20 grants of $500 are available for not-for-profits, school groups, Landcare groups, community organisations and sustainability groups to support the planting of bee-friendly trees in extended gardens, community-owned land, school grounds, sporting club precincts and urban corridors to increase vital habitat, providing spaces for bees to forage, live and breed.

Purpose: Supports projects that directly or indirectly assist, involve and benefit LGBTQIA+ people and promote positive social outcomes and mental health in the community.

Sanitarium Community Care Support Programme

Purpose:  To provide in-kind food product donations to community programmes and charities tackling hunger and food insecurity. Through established partnerships with Foodbank Australia it sustains relief to a national network of over 2,600 charities and supports more than 2,500 schools via the Good Start Breakfast Programme. Focus areas include nutritious food relief, healthy eating education and logistical coordination for product delivery
