Note from the RE
Thankfully 2021 has been…better…than 2020. I know we’re not back to normal quite yet, but this season at least helped to make me feel a little more normal on the weekends I was able to see everyone.
I’m grateful for the year we were able to put together for all programs, Autocross, Rallycross, and our new program RallySprint. With the hard work of a group of dedicated volunteers, we had a great year.
Thank you to everyone who does give their time and energy to the club - it means so much to so many of us. Without these folks, we wouldn’t have the programs (or fun) we do.
I want to thank all of you Susquehanna Region members, the friendships and relationships I’ve made within the Region are some that I really cherish, and hope to have for a long time.
I wish all of you a Merry Christmas, Happy Holiday season, and a wonderful New Year!
(OK, enough mushy stuff…let’s get back to talking about race cars!)

Who's Ready to Party!
You’re invited to come out and help us celebrate our 2021 Autocross and RallyCross Series at the Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey on Saturday, January 15, 2022. We’ll present our region recognition awards as well as our series of competition awards while enjoying complimentary beer and soda, a great buffet dinner and, of course, door prizes! We’ve upgraded the menu and added more/better beer to this year’s selection, so don’t miss out!
Registration is NOW OPEN. We have the event capped at 140 people. Registration closes on January 7, so don't wait to RSVP!
SCCA members pay a discounted rate or $30 per person, with one non-member guest at the same price. Non-members and additional guests are also welcome to join us for $50 per person.

Solo National Tour: Now with Season Points!
DEC18, 2021 — Come 2022, the Tire Rack SCCA Solo National Tour — formerly Championship Tour — will have a new season-long look, with a year-long point championship up for grabs in each class.
Competitors will have the opportunity to score points in each National Tour event throughout the season, with three of the best-scoring events counting toward the individual season total.

The Reading Recreation Commission’s “3rd and Spruce” gymnasium was filled with raucous excitement earlier in November when SCCA’s Blue Mountain Region hosted its annual Pine Car Derby charity event in Eastern Pennsylvania.
Rich Rock, the region’s Time Trials and HillClimb chairman, has spearheaded the activity for around a half-dozen years. He said about 30 kids between the ages of 6 and 13 years old took part this year, and the wooden car kits were provided free of charge to participants.
2022 Convention Session Schedule Released
DEC 14, 2021 — The holiday season is upon us, which means it’s time to get excited! Sure, there are visits from loved ones, giant feasts or loads of presents; but when end-of-year festivities roll around it also indicates the annual SCCA National Convention is not far off!
2022 Tire Rack ProSolo & National Tour Schedules
DEC 3, 2021 — Mark your calendars and reserve those vacation days, the Tire Rack Solo National Tour and Tire Rack ProSolo schedules for 2022 have been posted! The National Tour program is packed with a dozen events from March to December, including a return to FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland; and ProSolo is back on track with 11 dates spanning March to August.
Not included in the above event counts are the 49th Tire Rack Solo Nationals Championship taking place September 6-9 at Lincoln Airpark in Nebraska, as well as the ProSolo Championship Finale September 2-4 at the same location.
