Before arriving at ITHS, Dr. Stephens’ career path was marked by two distinct phases: Information technology and psychology. Her multidisciplinary background provides a unique lens through which she approaches her work, merging the realms of informatics and mental health care. The ITHS-developed Translational Research Education Engine (TREE) learning management system was recently rebuilt and updated to provide a more user-friendly platform that offers an engaging, interactive learner experience. The new TREE offers educational opportunities and content hosting services for the greater clinical and translational science community. REQUEST FOR APPLICATIONS: SCRC PILOT GRANTS PROGRAMThe UW Suicide Care Research Center recently announced their Request for Applications for 2-year $100,000 pilot and developmental research projects that aim to develop, refine, and/or implement scalable innovative interventions or services along SCRC’s Suicide Care Pathway for adolescents and young adults (ages 13-30) in outpatient medical settings. As a reminder, detailed Letters of Intent are due on September 15, 2024 and SCRC strongly recommends teams obtain consultation with Center faculty Kate Comtois or Molly Adrian prior to submission (you may submit an LOI without prior consultation). The window for pre-LOI consultation closes August 15, 2024.
