Our new CEO - Get to Know Pastor James L. Brooks

We have some very exciting news to share with our LCHC community.  After a long search process, the Board of Directors has selected James L. Brooks as the new CEO of Lawndale Christian Health Center!

James Brooks, MDiv, has served at LCHC since 2013, most recently as the Chief Ministry Officer and Vice President of Mission & Community Engagement. His experience as a healthcare leader is complemented by nearly 20 years of faith-based leadership experience in church ministry in North Lawndale. 

James Brooks’ vision for the future of LCHC is one of ongoing community partnerships that work for the good of its patients, staff, and neighbors. He will be the driving force in keeping LCHC advancing toward greater diversity, equity, and inclusion at every level; maintaining excellence in LCHC’s services; and being responsive in addressing the needs that face our community.  

“I’m deeply honored and incredibly humbled to be selected for this role. I am blessed to partner with all our staff, leaders, Board members, and those who have gone before us in Christ-centered service to our community. I pray God gives me the strength to continue to motivate and develop the mission of Lawndale Christian Health Center as we partner with our community to bring wellness to Lawndale and the neighboring communities,” Brooks shared.    

LCHC's Board of Directors and staff are grateful to James L. Brooks for his ongoing commitment to the organization and the Lawndale community and believes that this transition will allow LCHC to continue to provide quality, affordable healthcare with the love of Jesus. James will assume the role of CEO in January 2022 following the retirement of Bruce Miller on December 31.

Booster shots of the COVID-19 vaccine are recommended for all adults who are fully vaccinated at least 6 months after their last COVID-19 vaccine dose. Kids Dental Visits

Our Pediatric Dental team provides a warm and comfortable environment to ensure your child has a positive visit experience. We offer check-ups, cleanings, and minor dental procedures. Our goal is to provide quality dental care while educating your children on how to preserve their oral health to ensure long-term healthy habits.

Fitness Classes are Back!

Group Fitness classes have officially relaunched! Our Core, HIIT, Kickboxing, Kettlebell, and Zumba classes are now available. To join one of our group fitness classes, make a reservation through the LCFC app. For health and safety purposes, fitness classes are limited to five members per hour slot.
