Community Needs Assessment Survey As a Community Action Agency, HRDC conducts a Community Needs Assessment every three years to determine the most critical needs within our service area. For the first time, all Community Action Agencies across the state are collaborating on this process to better understand the landscape across all of Montana. The Community Needs Assessment is the first phase in the development of our strategic plan, which outlines and identifies potential programs, partnerships or policies needed to address the unmet needs of the community. We cannot respond to the local needs of the residents and communities we serve without understanding existing community resources and how conditions change overtime. We believe in order to build a community where anybody and everybody can thrive, we must hear directly from those who are working and living here. Anyone living and working in the state of Montana is kindly requested to provide their experiences via the survey link. We greatly appreciate your support on this critical piece of our organizational strategy. ![]() In 2025, HRDC will celebrate 50 years of building a better community across Southwest Montana.
