7th International Congress
Fall 2017- Chengdu, ChinaThe Congress’ primary objective is to discuss the direction of the Slow Food movement’s policies. The Congress is a major opportunity for reflection and stimulus for our future. The Congress will also have the task of electing the new governing bodies, which will take on the responsibility of guiding and assisting the development of Slow Food and Terra Madre over the next four years, in the service of the convivia and food communities around the world. This congress will once more establish Slow Food as a political subject involved in global change, as an organization able to bring people
together around the idea that food can be the starting point for a process of reversing the trends of a system that currently does not work, forcefully reaffirming the importance of the right to good, clean and fair food for everyone.

Menu for Change
Fall Campaign This fall, Slow Food USA is joining forces with SF International, Germany, Italy, and other chapters around the world to launch a campaign focused on climate change. The "Menu for Change" campaign will include fun challenges to get individuals and chapters engaged on a practical level. We would love your chapter to join. Please fill out this brief survey to give us important feedback.
Updated Chapter Membership + Contact ReportsWe have revamped the Monthly Membership Report. The report now gives you a list of current and expired members in the past two years and a list of people who are interested in your chapter, all in the same excel file. The reports will be sent on the 28th of the month. Our goal was to create a more streamlined and clear picture of a chapter's engagement with both members and contacts. If you have any issues with the report or suggestions on how to improve it, please email membership@slowfoodusa.org.
