En Pointe Events are beyond thrilled to be a Partner for the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival

In 2017, the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival, presented by Bank of Melbourne will celebrate food, wine, hospitality, design and art at the new House of Food and Wine. Tucked down a laneway in the heart of the CBD, the house will offer up creative collaborations and curated food and wine experiences for the full ten days of the Festival (31 March – 9 April).

Moving away from the Festival’s traditional pop-up Hub, the space will be reflective of a true home, complete with dining room (event space), lounge room (house bar), a garden (laneway) – even a gallery.

Melbourne Food & Wine Festival

As exclusive stylist for the inaugural House of Food & Wine, we will be working with the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival team and talent to ensure each and every event is En Pointe. From an Italo Disco to Breakfast Club, we will curate furniture, graphic design, floral, custom builds, projections and every design detail.

Fire 2.0

We are especially excited to see 2012 sell out, Fire Masterclass, (an event we worked on) being celebrated again! Bringing back some of the original crew, including Paul Carmichael of Momofuku Seiobo (Australian Gourmet Traveller Restaurant of the Year 2017) and inviting some new friends, including Embla’s Dave Verheul, this event will see food cooked over fire by some of Australia's best chefs.

April 2: Tickets on sale now!

Other highlights in the house, include :

April 3: Monday Family Dinner, $125
Inspired by chef Dan Hong and his mum Angie's Monday Hong Dinners, we’ve invited the first families of hospitality to cook us dinner. Chefs (and their family members) include Dan and Angie Hong, the Ayubi family (Parwana, Adelaide), Amy and Palisa Chanta (Chat Thai & Boon Cafe, Sydney), and Kate and Cameron Reid (Lune Croissanterie).

April 7: Rootstock Sydney x MFWF, $125
Sydney’s sustainable food and wine festival leaves its namesake city for this first-time MFWF collaboration. Expect some of the biggest names in food and natural wine including David Moyle (Longsong), Tom Shobbrook and Aaron Turner (IGNI). No sulfites allowed.

April 6 & 7 (Thursday & Friday): Vino Rapido, $55
‘Vino Rapido – the Best one-night stand you’ll ever have!’ – like speed dating but with wine, and hosted by Matt Skinner.

April 9: Burger Block Party, $25
We wrap up the Festival by bringing the country’s best burgers to Melbourne for one night only. The lineup includes Mary's Burgers (Sydney), Rockwell & Sons and Beatbox Kitchen (Melbourne), and Short Order Burger Company (Perth).

We can’t wait to work with event partners Custom Cargo, Hassell, Fred & Ginger Catering & The Laneway Group.
