Weaving and Awakening - UAICC National Conference Wrap Up
The Uniting Aboriginal and Islander Christian Congress (UAICC) held its National Conference on Larrakia land in Darwin from 13-18 April, the first time it has come together nationally in five years. Letter Writing Action - Illegal Logging Reform
A new letter writing action has been produced in partnership with the Uniting Church Synod of WA and the Synod of Victoria & Tasmania.

Refugee Sunday Worship Resource - 18 June 2023
The Social Justice Commission of the Uniting Church, Synod of Western Australia, has collated a series of prayers and reflections that could be used in worship for Refugee Sunday, 18 June 2023 with the theme 'Finding Freedom'.
News
- A prayer is available on the UCA website to mark ANZAC Day 2023, provided by the Uniting Church Defence Force Chaplains.
- UnitingCare Australia welcomes recommendations to address economic exclusion and poverty.
- UnitingWorld - well done to the people of Masingara, United Church in PNG and the Church Partnership Program for working together to bring clean water to another remote community in Papua New Guinea!
- Uniting in Prayer Worship Resources are now available. Uniting in Prayer is 26 days of prayer across the national Uniting Church, taking place between Pentecost and the Uniting Church Anniversary (28 May-22 June).
- Registrations are open for the President's Conference 2023 - hosted by Uniting Church President Rev Sharon Hollis Redcliffe Uniting Church, north of Brisbane. The 2023 conference is taking place in two parts: 26-28 July for ministry agents in a placement, and 28-30 July for the whole church.
Together, Yes is a kitchen conversations movement started by the Victorian Women's Trust, in support of a YES vote in the 2023 referendum on a First Nations Voice to parliament. Uniting Church President Rev Sharon Hollis encouraged UCA members to consider becoming hosts of Together, Yes conversations. Register your interest for a Uniting Church information session about Together, Yes.
- Kalamunda Uniting Church Market Day on Saturday 6 May from 9.00am to 12.00pm. There will be delicious scones, cake and sandwiches to tempt you with your morning tea or coffee. Browse the book tables in the hall and the crafts, jams and cakes in the foyer, plants and bric-a-brac outside.
- Old Manse Markets are being held on Saturday 6 May 9.00am to 12.00pm at Wesley Chapel Uniting Church, 91 James Street, Guildford.
- Movie Fundraiser 'Pick of the Litter' - Good Sammy and the Dogs' Refuge Home Shenton Park have united to bring you a fun movie event on Sunday 28 May from 2.00pm to 5.30pm at The Backlot Perth. There will be popcorn, a cake stall and a popup! All funds raised go towards both organisations to help support their missions.
