Gaza Crisis Appeal
UnitingWorld have set up a crisis appeal to help provide much needed emergency aid to the people of Gaza.
You can help support the people of Gaza impacted by violence, through UnitingWorld's Gaza Crisis Appeal. Your gift will support ACT Alliance and their local church partners to provide urgent emergency relief and to work to restore basic services for people affected by the violence in Gaza, the West Bank, and East Jerusalem.
Please give today to bring hope and relief where it is needed most.
Season of Creation 2025
Season of Creation is a time for Christians to come together in prayer and action for Creation.
Season of Creation begins on 1 September, the Day of Prayer for Creation, and ends on 4 October, the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of ecology. The 2025 theme is Peace with Creation - Isaiah 32:14-18. Learn more on the Season of Creation website here.

- IPDC Quiz Night - The WA Synod International Partnerships and Development Commission (IPDC) invite you to their annual Quiz Night at All Saints Floreat Uniting Church on Saturday 23 August, starting at 6.30pm. This is an important annual fundraising activity to support the work of our Synod partnership with the Black Pearl Network, Papua Indonesia. Why not get a table together from your congregation or community group? Tickets available here.
- Godly Play Day - Would you like a taste of Godly Play practices, materials and spirituality? Or maybe you would like to meet up with others using Godly Play to refresh your practice? There's a Godly Play Day planned for Saturday 4 October from 9.00am to 12.00pm at St Nicolas Anglican Church, Duncraig. Find out more here.
- Chaplain Training Post-Service Veteran Support - A free chaplain training day is planned for Tuesday 23 September 2025 from 8.30 am to 3.30pm. The training course will be held in the Royal Australian Airforce Association, Bull Creek. RSLWA are seeking expressions of interest from any Chaplain, Minister or trained Pastoral Carer or Worker interested in attending. 'Corals' Last Stand' Documentary Screening - The Australian religious Response to Climate Change (ARRCC) South West group is hosting a screening of Coral’s Last Stand - the fight to save Scott Reef and discussion at St Augustine Uniting Church in Bunbury on Friday 22 August. Doors open 5.00pm for screening from 5.30pm. Discussion afterwards will be resourced by Geoff Bice from Greenpeace.
Gymanfa Ganu Hymn & Choral Singing Festival - The Welsh Free Church of WA and the Perth Male Voice Choir invite you to their annual Gymanfa Ganu Hymn & Choral Singing Festival on Sunday 24 August, 2.00pm, Uniting Church in the City, Wesley Perth. Flight of the Birrin Birrin - St Augustine Uniting Church, Bunbury are hosting the world premiere of Sam McSweeney's Flight of the Birrin Birrin on Sunday 24 August, 2.00pm. Sam McSweeney and Alix Hamilton are presenting a program of West Australian compositions for viola and piano, inspired by the natural beauty of our stunning state. The work follows the imagined journey of a Birrin Birrin -the Noongar name for the Rainbow Bee-eater. Ticket includes afternoon tea.
