Meet the Bright Futures Fund Panel

TasNetworks has unveiled a new local panel to guide investment through its Bright Futures Fund. The Independent Community Assessment Panel brings together a diverse group of locals who will help decide where the funding goes.

NWTD Project Director, Richie Sheather, said the panel’s diverse composition represents local voices and includes different ages, cultural backgrounds and life experiences, which is critical in assessing applications.

“The panel's collective expertise and community focus will be invaluable in ensuring the $10 million fund supports initiatives that deliver real, lasting benefits for communities across north and north-west Tasmania.”

Burnie local Alexander McKenzie was appointed Chair in February, who has extensive community and governance experience. He has now been joined by six panel members in Amber Bramich, James Spring, Jane Hall, Karen Oborn, Lily Nutting and Sylvia Marris.
