Hello!

Another busy month is about to happen, especially with the end of the financial year occurring. So, from the 24th – 30th of this month watch out for an email where you can literally make an offer on any piece of stock on my website. You will be directed to email or phone me, and should your offer be acceptable you could well end up with quite a bargain.

In the meantime, my workshops have been busy undertaking all sorts of repairs and creating new pieces for the second part of my 2024 Collection, so watch this space after July 1st to see what’s new, exciting, wearable and of course great value.

Upcoming Events

With winter in full swing, I have decided to wait until August before hosting another series of talks at Newham in my “Culture in the Country” series thanks to my good friend Elizabeth Angas and her beautiful home.

At this stage it looks like I will be talking in conjunction with another of my good friends; Susannah Fullerton OAM on Tuesday 20th and Wednesday 21st August. There will be 4 talks including Regency Jewels and Oscar Wilde to name but two of these fascinating and enjoyable talks.

I was on the radio twice this last month. Firstly, with Sammy J on ABC Melbourne 774 Breakfast Show which you can hear on Instagram and secondly on my regular spot on ABC Melbourne 774 Afternoon Show with Trevor Chappell. Trevor and I talked about earrings- you can listen to this interview here.
 

Jewel(s) of the month

Yellow Gold, Sapphire and Ruby Set Necklace

This month I thought I would feature 2 jewels that have recently come into my collection. The first is an Estate Italian made 18ct yellow gold, cabochon Ruby and cabochon Sapphire set necklace. It’s a very understated piece and thus easy to wear and goes with many things.

The second is a pair of new 18ct yellow gold mounted all Diamond set hoop earrings. These have been made here in Melbourne and contain just over 5.00cts of well-cut and well-matched fine quality brilliant cut Diamonds.
