World Day of Prayer 2024The World Day of Prayer is an international ecumenical Christian laywomen’s initiative. It is run under the motto “Informed Prayer and Prayerful Action,” and is celebrated annually in over 170 countries on the first Friday in March. The host country for 2024 is Palestine and the theme is "I beg you...bear with one another in love" Ephesians 4:1-3 The
WDP24 program was written by a group of ecumenical Christian Palestinian women in response to the passage from Ephesians 4:1-7. The featured artist is Halima Aziz, a Palestinian visual artist. The artwork represents three Palestinian women praying together in nature in a peaceful place. You can find service locations here.

Lenten Resources 2024 - National Council of Churches Australia (NCCA) have collated a selection of resources for prayer and reflection during the season of Lent. - Nominations open for President-elect - Nominations are now open for the next President-elect of the Uniting Church in Australia, to be elected at the 17th Assembly meeting in July 2024.

Job opportunities in the wider Uniting Church Assembly General Secretary
Applications are open for the Assembly's next General Secretary. The person will be a member of the Uniting Church who has skills and experience in leading change, governance and staff management. They will need to be able to reflect theologically on the work of the Assembly and give general leadership to the Church. The next General Secretary will be committed to working with the Uniting Aboriginal and Islander Christian Congress, skilled at working with diverse groups of people, be collaborative and resilient.
The General Secretary is the executive officer of the Assembly. The position will be appointed by the 17th Assembly in July 2024.
