New Year, New We
Welcome to 2022! We're excited for this year, and the rollout of a new look for the Squeal. We'll see how this modern touch goes over, but I'd like to thank my wonderful wife Natalie for her hard work on our banquet brochures, which are the inspiration for the new look. There's more changes in the cones for the website as well, and we're looking forward to some new segments for the Squeal as well.
Keep your eyes peeled for more new content in the Squeal, as well as dates for the 2022 season! They'll be posted on the website as well as at the bottom of the Squeal once finalized by our fearless leaders.

A short note from me this month. First off, Happy New Year everyone! It was great to see everyone who was able to attend the Year-End Awards Banquet. It’s nice to see everyone when we can get cleaned up, without sunblock, dirt and brake dust all over us!
There’s no rest for the weary…we’re in planning mode for all of the programs. We’ll be sending you updates as soon as we have things available and ready to go. We look forward to getting things in full swing in the upcoming months.

January Regional Meeting
January 27, 2022 - at 7:00pm
WE’RE AT ROADHOUSE CAFÉ BAR & GRILL
Our next meeting will be held on the second floor at Roadhouse Café Bar & Grill, located at 1031 Eisenhower Blvd, Harrisburg, PA 17111. All members are encouraged to attend. Come an hour early for dinner (and a drink) with other members.
The staff has reserved the back room for us from 5:30pm until they close. Please make sure you tell them you’re with the SCCA group, and they will get you seated with us. We look forward to seeing you!
Susquehanna Region - COVID-19 Guidelines

2021 SCCA Solo Triad Award Winners
JAN 13, 2021 — Created in 2009 to recognize driver excellence through the course of a competition season, the Solo Triad is one of the most difficult awards to earn in SCCA competition. Past winners include David & Kim Whitener, Mark Madarash, Shelly Monfort and a veritable list of who’s who in Solo National competition. Although the criteria have varied a bit over the years, a Solo Triad Award is earned through a triad of accomplishments.
Helmet Certifications Updated for 2022
JAN 20 2022 — When the calendar rolls over to a new year, many other things roll with it – a new set of rules may go into effect, or the season planning may take on a higher priority. But one of the most important may be the legality and safety of your helmet, and 2022 is no different.
Now Streaming: Inside SCCA Podcast
JAN 18, 2022 — Looking for an inside line on the Club? Inside the SCCA is a new podcast that features interviews with the club’s leading personalities, but it’s not owned by SCCA. Instead, it’s an independent media outlet managed by Rule 15 Productions and hosted by long-time SCCA Member and journalist, Brian Bielanski. He uses the Club’s name with permission, but without direction or influence from SCCA.
First Day of National Convention Ends With Highest Honors
JAN 21, 2022 — The opening day of the SCCA National Convention, held virtually and for free for all SCCA members again in 2022, was capped on Friday night by introducing some of the Sports Car Club of America’s biggest contributors with the induction of the 2022 Hall of Fame class and presentation of the Woolf Barnato and Member of Excellence Awards.
