Enabling Employment Opportunity with Immersive Technology: Learn at Lunch April 21, 12pm – 1pm ET
Join Matt Chaussee, CEO, CareerViewXR, for the inaugural Learn at Lunch session. Matt will define and explore the use of immersive technologies and how these tools can be effectively used in workplace settings. This event is co-hosted by TIP and the Kentucky Employment First Council.
Interview Tips Video Now AvailableThe Kentucky Employment First Council, Innovative Supports for Autistic Workers (ISAW), and the Training Innovation Project (TIP) share Episode 3 of the 2026 Autism Informed Employers quick-hit video series. This is a monthly 2-minute video series along with quarterly
topical conversations. Episode 3 shares some communication strategies that could be helpful when interviewing Autistic job candidates.
Autism Informed Employers Quarterly ConversationsThe first Autism Informed Employer conversation will be held on March 26th at 12:00 Eastern time, covering topics related to hiring. Employers, employment
specialists, and others are invited to gather for further information and a robust discussion of hiring practices. Please join the discussion and help remove barriers to employment for this group of people who are eager to work, yet most often unemployed or underemployed.
Save the Date! Workforce & Employer Engagement Summit On September 22, 2026, the TIP inaugural Workforce & Employer Engagement Summit will be held virtually. This event will bring partners together to share lessons learned, strengthen employer partnerships, and explore
practical tools that can be adapted across settings. More details coming soon!
Training Innovation Project News
Check Out TIP OnlineTIP’s National Innovative Training Hub is live! Our main strategy for sharing innovative resources is through our online presence at tiptrain.com. Here you will find training content, including webinars and short think spot videos. This is also where our Professional Learning Series modules will be housed.
Learn at Lunch DefinedTIP Learn at Lunch are 30–45-minute activities designed to generate ideas, share practical tools, and connect people. Each session features a guest speaker, TIP team member, or hands-on activity focused on topics that
matter to rehabilitation professionals and businesses. There will be time to ask questions in a relaxed space to learn, connect, and share ideas with others in the field. Learn at Lunch sessions are presented in partnership with the Kentucky Employment First Council.
National Needs Assessment SurveyTo learn how to best meet the needs and interests of rehabilitation professionals on employer engagement topics, TIP developed an Employer Engagement Survey that was available online between February 4 and March 3, 2026. A total of 453 surveys were
received. We are thankful for the great response. We will use these findings to share information and develop content. The report will be shared on the National Innovative Training Hub soon!
