GERMÁN GORNALUSSE, RECOGNIZED BY THE NCATS ADVISORY COUNCILDr. Germán Gornalusse, an ITHS KL2 Scholar, was recently recognized at the 2025 fall NCATS Advisory Council Meeting for his incredibly innovative research focused on the intersection of HIV/AIDS pathogenesis. During the session, Dr. Michael Kurilla, the Director of the NCATS Division of Clinical Innovation, recognized CTSA program scholars who were inducted into professional institutes or received high honors (e.g., PECASE), including Dr. Gornalusse and his recent publication in Frontiers in Immunology.
