Alexandra Pryor, MD

Alexandra Pryor, a Family Medicine Resident at Lawndale Christian Health Center, relocated from San Diego, California, where she completed her undergraduate and medical education at UC San Diego. Driven by a passion to explore residency opportunities outside of California and her love for Chicago, Dr. Pryor connected with local medical professionals and found a strong alignment with LCHC's Family Medicine Residency Program. Her dedication to providing holistic care, inspired by her faith, allows her to build trusting and empathetic relationships with her patients.

She highlights, "It's incredibly fulfilling to provide a service that takes years of training and expertise, and to see the positive impact it has on people's lives." Dr. Pryor values the unique experiences and challenges of working in various aspects of the Lawndale community, particularly in supporting recent migrants seeking prenatal services. She is committed to giving her patients the time and care they need, always striving to be an active and empathetic listener.

She says, “"I genuinely love my patients. Each one brings joy to my work, and it's an honor to be part of their healthcare journey."

Recovery Community

At Lawndale Christian Health Center, our Recovery Community program offers a nurturing environment aimed at helping individuals overcome substance use disorder with compassion and empowerment. We facilitate sustainable recovery and holistic well-being through a range of supportive activities including counseling, Bible study, volunteer opportunities, and social work services. Recovery Community meets every weekday morning from 9 am to 12 pm at 3824 W Ogden. Walk-ins are always warmly welcomed!

Back to School Bash | August 15th

Get ready for the 6th annual Back to School Bash, hosted by LCHC and Harmony Community Church! Mark your calendars for Thursday, August 15th, from 4-6pm at the Harmony Church parking lot (1908 S Millard Ave). This fun-filled event features free school supplies for K-12 students (while supplies last), inflatables, music, community resources, raffle prizes, delicious food, and so much more! Kick-start the school year with a memorable experience for the whole family.
