Sydney Catholic Schools Stage 3 Volleyball/Newcombe Ball Gala Day 2024

This year, Santa Sabina College is entering the Sydney Catholic Schools Stage 3 Volleyball/Newcombe Ball Gala Day. This Gala Day is open to all students in Year 5 and Year 6. This is a non-competitive day, with no scores being recorded and no finals taking place.

Date: Wednesday 23 October
Venue: Cintra Park Netball Courts, Concord
Time: Students will travel to and from the venue by bus. The bus will depart at 8:45am for a 9:30am Gala Day start. The Gala Day concludes at 11:30am. Students will return to school by bus with an approximate arrival time of 12:00pm.

Transport: The College will be providing a bus to transport students. All students must travel to and from the Gala Day from Santa Sabina College via the College bus.

What to wear: Full College Sports uniform – College sport shirt, sport hat, sport socks and sandshoes.

What to bring: Students will need to bring their school backpack or school sports bag and pack their school hat, sunscreen, recess and water bottle. Canteen facilities will not be available.

Supervision: Sport staff, coaches and Gioia House staff will supervise students for the duration of the Gala Day.

Registration: Please complete the Expression of Interest form below by Friday 27 September.

Please note: Teams must be submitted to the convenors by the closing of the expression of interest date, late entries will not be accepted unless spots are available (maximum eight players per team).
