Note from Jill

Dear Friend,

This is a special edition newsletter because it is an incredibly special time of year. Can the Griz, Thanksgiving holiday box distribution, and Huffing for Stuffing make November the most exciting month in the food bank world! Gratitude and generosity radiate as our community stands up and says everyone should have good food to eat and share. From the small business owner who walks in with a check to the child who delivers their favorite can of soup, we see the power of giving and receiving all month long.

We hope you will be inspired to participate in all the good that takes place to make our community members thrive. We are here for you and we are blown away by how you are here for us!

Happy Thanksgiving with gratitude,
Jill Holder
HRDC Food & Nutrition Director

HRDC's 18th annual Huffing for Stuffing is in just two weeks! There is plenty of time left to sign up to join us on Thanksgiving morning for a 5K, 10K, Untimed 5K, or Kids' Run. Register soon to reserve a 2024 race shirt—this year's shirt is pretty special!

We are also looking for volunteers to help us out on race day. Volunteers help us at water stations, race day registration, the start line, and the hospitality tent, just to name a few!

Check out the Huffing for Stuffing website to sign up to race or volunteer. Let's spend the morning celebrating our community and supporting a more food-secure Gallatin Valley!
