![]() EVST News March 10, 2025 Fall 2025 Registration Registration for Fall '25 courses opens in April and courses will appear in Yale Course Search in the next few weeks. While most applications are managed through the Yale registration system, some have other application or preregistration requirements, like the following course. Application for Writing about Science, Medicine, and the Environment (MBB 4590/ENGL 4459/EVST 4469) is an upper-level undergraduate workshop that will be offered Fall 2025. Students will learn to write about complex subjects for a broad public audience. This course is intended not only for students interested in pursuing a career in writing, but also for students planning to become scientists, doctors, and policymakers—for anyone who wants to learn how to tell stories about the natural world and about pressing social issues. About the teacher: Carl Zimmer is professor adjunct in MB&B, a columnist for the New York Times, and the author of 15 books about science. For more information, see carlzimmer.com.
