A Message From Your Autocross Chair
We are halfway done with the season. It's been great so far in my opinion. This region has some of the best competitors and some of the best people to help run and organize events. If you're in the chase for a year end trophy here some reminders. We have 13 scheduled events so the best 9 will count for your points. If you do more than 9, we will drop the lowest scores. (All this can be found on the supplemental rule page). 7 events is the minimum required to receive a year end award. And new for this year, we will only be doing awards down to 5th place in class. Any questions you can always ask on the Facebook page or message me there. Traditionally our final event will be a normal autocross in the morning followed by a match tour in the PM (more details to follow later). Thanks again to everyone for making this one of the best regions to autocross with."

Upcoming Natonal Event Near You: SCCA Time Trials at Pitt Race
Pennsylvania is going to host an SCCA National event. Granted it's time trials and not autocross,but it's still pretty cool. Sept 19-21 at Pitt Race will take host to the SCCA Time Trial Nationals. More information can be found below.

Car Classing Help Available
New to SCCA functions/events, and not sure where your car fits in? Just finished putting enough aero on your Avalon to cross the Atlantic, and not sure if it's legal for H Street? Well good news -- with some help from our fantastic volunteers, we now can assist with car classing questions. Do not be afraid to ask on the facebook groups for classing information as well, but there's now another way to get assistance if you'd prefer. Simply send an email over to classmycar@scca-susq.com and we'll help to the best of our ability.

This month’s meeting will be held at Marzoni's Brick Oven Brewing Co at 4925 Ritter Road, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055. All members are encouraged to attend. Come an hour early for dinner (and a drink) with other members. Please make sure to let the host know that you’re with the SCCA group so they seat us all together.

Know an Outstanding Worker or Mechanic? Nominate Them for These Significant SCCA Road Racing Awards
JUL 09, 2025 — In SCCA® Road Racing, it’s easy to concentrate on the action on track, but that sometimes misses the big picture. As the saying goes, we came to the Club for the cars. Yet the saying continues: We stayed for the people. In many cases, it’s those same people who make the racing possible, either through their dedication as an SCCA volunteer, or through the countless hours they put in at the shop or paddock wrenching on other people’s race cars. Now, SCCA needs your help to celebrate those outstanding members.
SCCA offers two sets of awards specifically for volunteers and mechanics, and your help is needed in nominating worthy recipients.
Over the Last 77 Years, This Rally Has Tested the Best. Can You Press On Regardless?
JUL 16, 2025 — There’s the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Indy 500, Monaco Grand Prix, and likely a few others, but in general, finding a motorsports event that’s still running after hitting the 75-year mark is rare. To that end, we present the Press On Regardless RoadRally, which is about to celebrate its 77th event.
Beyond that, you’re encourage to participate in the next Press On Regardless® with two National Tour RoadRallies, taking place Sept. 5-6, 2025, in northern Michigan. But how did this event get to where it is?

JUL 10, 2025 — Chase Briscoe did it last month. Denny Hamlin has done it five times. Daniel Dobalo and SCCA phenom Connor Zilisch have also accomplished it.
That’s right, those are the names everyone is chasing at Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, PA, for the ultimate motorsports crossover – and the Tire Rack SCCA® Time Attack Challenge is one of the most unique tracks on NASCAR’s schedule.
OK, the Time Attack Challenge isn’t on NASCAR’s schedule – it’s better, because it’s something YOU can compete in in virtually any street car you wish with as little as a helmet.
