The Uniting Church WA Social Justice Commission have two 'Uniting for the Voice - Yes' banners available for congregations to borrow and display, to show support for the an Indigenous Voice to Parliament,   Please send expressions of interest to Daniel Vujcich on dlvujcich@gmail.com

Safe Church Refresher

Safe Church Refresher 

A Safe Church Refresher Workshop is taking place on Saturday 12 August from 9.00am to 12.30pm at Nedlands Uniting Church, 237 Princess Rd, Nedlands. This training is suitable for clergy, church leaders, members and those involved in community services. The cost is $30 per person to cover the workbook and light refreshments. Register by 7 August to cultureofsafety@wa.uca.org.au

Uniting Church WA Campsite Bookings

Did you know you can book the Uniting Church Campsite online? The Campsite is located in Seista Park, Busselton on the beautiful Geographe Bay and is available for use by Uniting Church members and employees, and for school and agency programs. There are 18 powered and 10 unpowered sites which can be booked and paid for online on our website.  For group bookings contact the property team: property@wa.uca.org.au

  • What the Voice means to me #5 - Rev Robert Jetta, Chair of the Uniting Aboriginal and Islander Christian Congress (UAICC) in Western Australia and Minister of Waroona Uniting Church, shares about what the Voice means to him.

  • Heart for the Homeless Collection Appeal - Sonshine FM together with Uniting WA, One Voice and Saint Pat’s are collecting items to show our Heart for the Homeless.  Items collected throughout the appeal will help people sleeping rough in our city.   • Lafaek Diak - a Good Crocodile - A ‘good crocodile’ seems like an oxymoron to most people around the world but for the East Timorese it’s the symbol of their creation story. A Travel and Spirituality reflection by Alison Dyall.   • Chaplain Training - Post-Service Veteran Support. The Senior Chaplain at RSLWA is planning a free training day on Tuesday 5 September 2023 from 9.00am to 3.30pm and is now seeking expressions of interest from Chaplains, Ministers and Pastoral Carers interested in attending.  Please contact Barrie Yesberg by email chaplaincy@rslwa.org.au 
  • Nungalinya College is the premier Combined Churches Training College for Indigenous Australians, Darwin NT. The College's Partnerships and Fundraising Manager Ox Roberts will be visiting Perth from 10 - 17 September and has some availability to speak to interested groups and congregations.  If your congregation would like to hear more about the work of Nungalinya please contact communications@wa.uca.org.au and we will pass on the request.
  • Uniting Church in the City, Trinity Perth's weekly Wednesday Taize Services are currently on a break and will resume on Wednesday 9 August.
