Hello!

Welcome to my final newsletter for 2025. Another incredibly busy year buying and selling, and designing and advising lovely people on their jewels. And, of course, talks and speaking on ABC Radio more and more!

I guess the most surprising happening has been the gold price as well as other precious metal prices for that. Where will it go next year I wonder? My prediction is higher still!

Circa AD Jewels Pops Up!

Recently I was introduced to a lovely café, Bedggood & Co in East Melbourne (which has become my current favourite), and I thought where better to host another Circa AD Jewels pop up! With wonderful food and great service, it makes a perfect spot to visit this December.

Join me at Beddgood this month to kick off the festive season with some beautiful jewels from my new collection. I will be there on the below dates and look forward to seeing you!

David Astle from ABC Radio Melbourne also called me to speak on the Evenings show. He had heard about the incredible price achieved for a pocket watch in a small auction house in Devizes, UK, called Henry Aldridge & Son. Listen to our chat here, and to read more on this story head here. 

What a story like this shows is that provable provenance is so important. Similarly, when it comes to your pieces, it is also important to keep records of how you received jewels and special possessions and the stories you have about them. For future generations this will ensure the history within your family of family heirlooms will never get lost.
