Formation for All Day

Formation for All Day

The Uniting Centre for Education and Formation (UCEF) invites you to their next Formation for All Day.

There are many tasks and roles in the church community that may seem simple for some, but for others can be a bit of a mystery.
Formation for All Day is on Saturday 3 May from 9.30am to 2.30pm at Mount Pleasant Uniting Church. The theme for this day is ‘Help! I’ve been asked to…’ where they will help unpack some of the mystery around topics such as:

  • Leading a devotion
  • Preparing a children’s talk
  • Conducting a funeral
  • Leading worship
  • Leading the Prayers of Intercession
  • Joining the Church Council

Every year the Bible Society of Australia provides churches with free Easter books for children.

These books make a great item to give to children or their families who are in some ways connected to your church, such as grandchildren of church members, Messy Church families, Play Group families or even to groups that hire your church facilities.

Julie Ridden, the Children, Families, Youth and Young Adults Coordinator, has ordered 200 of The Easter Love Story. The book features the beautiful art of  Indigenous Australian, Fern Martins.
