14 Days of Prayer for the Voice
As the day of the Referendum on the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice to Parliament draws near, the Uniting Church Assembly are inviting people to take part in 14 Days of Prayer for the Voice from 29 September to 13 October, ending in a national Referendum Eve Vigil.
This is an opportunity to hold one another in prayer over this time, especially First Nations community, These prayers will come from across the country, reflecting the diversity of the Uniting Church.
You can sign up to receive the daily prayers in your email, or follow the Uniting Church in Australia Facebook page.
Trek 4 Timor Perth 2023
The International Partnerships and Development Commission (IPDC) invite you to walk to save a life by joining them on a Trek for Timor on Sunday 5 November 2023. This year there’s a change of scenery, with the walk incorporating the bridges river walk starting at Mount Pleasant Uniting Church, walking around the Mount Henry and Canning Bridges. This family friendly and accessible walk will not only be a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon, it's an opportunity to raise funds for the Mobile Health Clinic in East Timor.
