Today is the last day to set up your FACTS Family Portal login!

Registration & Re-Enrollment 2026-2027

Dear Illinois Lutheran Parents,

Thank you for being a part of the ILS family! We are blessed to serve you and your child, as we help them grow and thrive. We appreciate your trust and investment in your child’s education at ILS.

Registration for the 26-27 school year is now open! Again this year, we are automatically re-registering your child(ren) for the 26-27 school year.

Remember the re-enrollment paper copies you filled out last year? We are excited to announce that re-enrollment will now be online through the new FACTS Family Portal!

You can set up access to your FACTS Family Portal now. Please review the instructions in the section below titled "INTRODUCING: FACTS FAMILY PORTAL".

The Family Portal will allow you to complete your re-enrollment for the 26-27 school year, confirm your contact information, apply for tuition assistance, upload your child’s new health records, and pay your 26-27 registration fee.

Beginning Friday, February 13, you will only be able to access your FACTS tuition account through the Family Portal.

Steps for you to take:

  1. Please read through all of the information in this email thoroughly.

  2. Set up your new FACTS Family Portal login. Beginning Friday, February 13, you will only be able to access your FACTS tuition account through the Family Portal. Read below to learn how to set up your Family Portal login.

  3. Complete your re-enrollment and pay your registration fee by March 15, 2026, through the FACTS Family Portal.

  4. If you are applying for the Charger Voucher or Schmidt Family Award (tuition assistance), please set up your Family Portal login and click on "Apply for Grant & Aid" under the Financial section (this link will be available in the Family Portal on February 13). Returning families are required to apply by March 15, 2026.

The early non refundable registration fee for the 26-27 school year is $250 per child for PreK-12th grade. You will pay the registration fee once you fill out and submit your re-enrollment packet online through the FACTS Family Portal. The registration fee is due by March 15, 2026. After March 15, the fee will be $350 per child.

If you have not submitted your online re-enrollment packet and paid registration by March 15, 2026, your early registration fee will be added to the remaining payments in your 25-26 FACTS tuition account by April 15, 2026.

If you do not plan to register your child(ren) for the 26-27 school year, please notify us in writing via email (jbushey@ilhs.org) by March 1, 2026.

Illinois Lutheran School exists to provide a quality, Christian education. We accomplish this by providing an exceptional Christ-centered education. We realize that a Christian education at Illinois Lutheran is a significant investment for families. CLICK HERE for the cost of tuition for the 26-27 school year.

The cost of education for one child at ILS ranges from $8,400 to $12,800 depending on the grade level. However, nearly every family qualifies for a variety of financial support if they need it.

  • Charger Vouchers - available to any student meeting family income requirements. Prior to February 13, you can begin your application in your FACTS tuition account. After February 13, you will access the application through the Family Portal only. Applications are due by March 15, 2026. CLICK HERE to see if you qualify.

  • Schmidt Family Award - available to students in grades K-6 who meet family income requirements. Prior to February 13, you can begin your application in your FACTS tuition account. After February 13, you will access the application through the Family Portal only. Applications are due by March 15, 2026. Elementary families are automatically considered for this award when they apply for the Charger Voucher by March 15, 2026.

  • Additional needs-based financial assistance (see below) - apply online. Prior to February 13, you can begin your application in your FACTS tuition account. After February 13, you will access the application through the Family Portal only. Online  applications are due by March 15, 2026 and the paper application (available in the office) by April 1, 2026. Your online application must be completed first.

  • Supporting Congregation Active Member Scholarship - available to families of Trinity, Zion, Grace, Hobart, IN, and St. Paul’s, Grant Park (churches that are part of the ILS Federation). Select this option when you fill out your re-enrollment in the FACTS Family Portal.

  • Third-child Credit - available to families with 3 or more children at ILS. Select this option when you fill out your re-enrollment in the FACTS Family Portal.

  • Merit & Charger Scholarships - available to qualifying high school students. Select this option when you fill out your re-enrollment in the FACTS Family Portal. Applications are due by June 1, 2026 and are available in the office.

  • RaiseRight - Purchase gift cards for everyday expenses, and earn credit towards your child’s tuition and Illinois Lutheran. CLICK HERE to learn more.

Additional Needs-Based Financial Assistance

Returning school families applying for needs-based financial assistance beyond the Charger Voucher are required to do so before Wednesday, April 1, 2026. Preschool children are not eligible for additional needs-based tuition assistance.

  1. You must first complete the online application. Prior to February 13, you can begin your application in your FACTS tuition account​​​​​​​. After February 13, you will access the application through the Family Portal only. Applications are due by March 15, 2026.

  2. You must contact the office at 708.672.3262, ext. 123 or jbushey@ilhs.org to request a paper application. The application will be sent once you’ve applied online through FACTS.

February 13

  • Set up your new FACTS Family Portal login. Beginning February 13, you will only be able to access your FACTS tuition account through the Family Portal.

March 15

  • Deadline to submit your re-enrollment packet and pay registration through the FACTS Family Portal to receive the early registration discount of $250 per child. After March 15, the fee will be $350 per child.

  • Deadline to select the Charger Voucher (PreK - 12th), Schmidt Family Award (K - 6th), Active Member Scholarship (K-12), Third Child Credit (K-12), or Merit & Charger Scholarship (incoming freshmen) in your re-enrollment packet through the FACTS Family Portal.

  • Deadline to apply online for the Charger Voucher (PreK-12) and Schmidt Family Award (PreK-6). Prior to February 13, you can begin your application in your FACTS tuition account. After February 13, you will access the application through the Family Portal only.

April 1

  • Deadline to request additional tuition assistance.

June 1

  • Deadline to apply for the Merit or Charger Scholarships (incoming freshmen).

We’re excited to announce our new online re-enrollment system. With the new integrated experience, you have a single login to access FACTS tuition management, financial aid applications and re-enrollment. Beginning Friday, February 13, you will only be able to access your FACTS account through the Family Portal.

The Family Portal will allow you to complete your re-enrollment for the 26-27 school year, confirm your contact information, apply for tuition assistance, upload your child’s new health records, and pay your 26-27 registration fee.

After watching the video, follow these instructions to set up your login:

  1. Please go to the website https://www.factsmgt.com/

  2. Top Right on the site, click on “Log In Here” by Parents & School Administration

  3. In the “For Families” box click on “Family Portal Login”

  4. Enter the District Code: ILSC-IL

  5. Click “Create New Account”

  6. Enter the email address that you currently use to login to FACTS, and our District Code: ILSC-IL

  7. You will receive an email from SIS Customer Support containing a link that will allow you to create your username and password.  For security purposes the link will remain active for six hours.

  8. Please click on the link. A Change/Create Password screen will open.  You may use the default username provided, or create a new username.  Then type your desired password into the Password field and Confirm Field.

  9. Click on the Save Username and/or Password button

  10. Close the window

  11. You may now login to your Family Portal when you need to access your account for payment plans, re-enrollment and registration

Once you have set up your login and you are ready to complete your re-enrollment packet, click on the Apply / Enroll menu, Enrollment / Re-Enrollment, and under Packet Status select Enrollment Packet.
