Philip Mondor - For more than 30 years, Philip has worked with labour market stakeholders across Canada and abroad including foreign governments, pan-global organizations, Canadian and non-Canadian businesses, and various education and training bodies. His work spans over 15 industrial sectors and in 11 countries, with most of his career focused on the tourism industry. Philip is an industry representative to the Deputy Minister’s Advisory Council, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. Currently, he is an advisory member of the Labour Market Information Council and the Future Skills Centre Research Advisory Board. Philip is the recipient of Ryerson’s Ted Roger’s Industry Award, 2020. Tracey Kalimeris - A senior human resource leader with a passion for the hospitality industry. She has held senior leadership roles both within hotel operations and at the corporate level. She spent several years as a Professor of Human Resources. In her current role Tracey provides strategic direction and has oversight for Hotel Talent & Culture Operations across Accor’s North & Central America portfolio. Tracey holds a Masters of Business Administration from Royal Roads University and is recognized as a Certified HR Leader with the Canadian Human Resource Professional Association. She sits on the Policy Advisory Board of the University of Guelph HFTM School and is Board Member with Tourism HR Canada. Patrick Wallace - Owner of Trout Point Lodge, NS’s premier Luxury Wilderness Resort. With his wife Pamela, Patrick is responsible for strategy, marketing, people and operations. Since taking over in 2018, Trout Point Lodge has grown its business, developed a loyal and engaged social media following, extended its season into the winter months, and grown its top-notch team. Patrick spent more than 20 years in general management, sales, marketing and operations in the technology hardware and medical electronics industries. He has an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a BA from the University of Ottawa, and a diploma in Korean Language studies from Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea. Ms. Nancy Healey has been appointed as the Commissioner for Employers at the Canada Employment Insurance Commission for a two-year term, effective July 26, 2021. Ms. Healey is an award-winning chamber executive with 20 years of strategic and innovative leadership as a champion for business. From 2008 to 2020, she was the chief executive officer of the St. John’s Board of Trade, where she helped businesses succeed through advocacy work at the municipal, provincial and federal levels. Prior to that, Ms. Healey served as the executive director of an industry sector association dedicated to growing the hospitality and tourism industry. Ms. Healey has served on the Board of Directors of the Newfoundland and Labrador Credit Union, was a past president of the Chamber of Commerce Executives of Canada, and a past director of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, where she was named Executive of the Year in 2018. Ms. Healey completed the Director’s Education Program from the Rotman School of Management and has achieved the designation of ICD.D. She is currently pursuing an Executive MBA from the University of Fredericton and continues serving on not for profit boards including the Canadian Forces Liaison Council (NL).
