Celebrating 500 years!

The past two weeks have been packed with sporting success, academic exploration, and important discussions, reflecting our school’s dynamic and well-rounded approach to education. Here’s a look at some of the highlights:

  • 🏆 Kingfishers Triumph in the 10-Mile Trophy (race images below) – A superb effort saw Kingfishers bring the trophy back home to School House after an impressive performance.
  • 🌍 Year 5 Geography Field Trip – It's always a pleasure to host our Prep pupils at Senior School. Our year 5s had an exciting cross-curricular adventure exploring the River Rawthey, guided by Mr. Winterbottom, Head of Geography at the Senior School, as part of their ‘Rivers’ topic.
  • 🔍 Safer Internet Talks – Following this week’s Compass Assembly, pupils engaged in important discussions on online safety with Karl Hopwood, equipping them with knowledge on how to navigate the digital world responsibly.
  • 🏐 Senior Netball Tournament Celebrating 500 Years of Sedbergh – We were treated to a fantastic afternoon of high-level netball. Our 1st team suffered a nail-biting loss to @qenetball in the finals (image below).
  • 🏃Wilson Run Qualifiers - we're thrilled to see Sixth Form out and giving their best effort to qualify! (Main image)

It’s been a fantastic fortnight, and we look forward to more inspiring achievements and events in the coming weeks!
