Brandywine Cottage Garden Notecards

Those of you who have been following along with our Journey Through Your Garden series know just how beautiful David Culp's garden is (and if you're not, you're missing out—sign up here). We didn't want to keep all that beauty to ourselves, so we created a notecard set with images from his garden. Purchases support the series, as well as give you a good excuse to drop a beautiful card in the mail and brighten someone's day.

My top 5 reasons you should plant a tree!
1. Improve your mood: Trees are calming.
2. Improve the air: Trees soak up pollutants and give off oxygen.
3. Provide a home: Trees give food, protection, and homes for wildlife.
4. Reduce your energy bills: Trees planted on the south and west sides of your home provide shade in summer; deciduous trees allow sun to warm your home in winter.
5. As a memorial: Forego sending messages to loved ones with balloon or lantern releases (extremely harmful to the environment and wildlife), and plant your note along with a tree as a living memorial.

Happy Gardening!
