What's Next for Love Windermere?

The Love Windermere Partnership is committed to transparency and to sharing data that will allow for a full assessment of the actions needed to improve water quality in Windermere.

As part of this initiative, the Love Windermere Partnership commissioned the Freshwater Biological Association to produce the "State of Windermere Report" in 2023. This landmark document offers the most thorough assessment to date of Windermere’s ecological health. Drawing on decades of scientific data and recent analyses, the report provides a clear picture of the pressures facing Windermere and outlines the actions necessary to secure its future as a thriving natural resource.

As you can imagine, the report has taken time to undergo the proper review process, and we hope to share this information in early spring. Please keep an eye out for details about events where you can learn more about the science behind the report and its implications.
