How wrong we were; it's certainly been a year we will never forget for many reasons. However, despite the difficulties there have been many positives and it is these that have helped us continue to grow as a company and achieve some pretty monumental things!
I am grateful to the whole team for going above and beyond this year - the fact that we managed to manufacture something in the region of 200,000 face shields for healthcare workers at the height of the pandemic is phenomenal, but most importantly I am proud to say that we haven't stopped being here for our clients. We have continued to deliver all prototyping and production requirements across a multitude of processes and even achieved some pretty tight timescales!
As a result, we are ready to tackle 2021 head on with our usual energy and enthusiasm, particularly as there are some exciting changes to look forward to (and no I'm not talking Brexit!) I'm looking at potential new premises, more space and more machines...now that's certainly something to get excited about!
We've made the decision not to send Christmas cards and gifts this year, thinking it more appropriate under the circumstances to make a donation to charity instead. We will be supporting Winston's Wish to help them provide bereavement support for grieving children and young people, particularly pertinent at this time of year.
I would like to take this opportunity, however, wish you all a very Merry Christmas and send my best wishes and hopes for a New Year of health and happiness.
I'll be thinking of you all as I sing Auld Lang Syne loud and clear this New Year's Eve.
