As you may be aware, CheckUP was successful in securing the Health Gateway to Industry Schools project contract for the next 3 years (2025 to 2027). As part of this new contract, all existing Health Gateway schools are required to sign a new MOU which covers the 2025 to 2027 calendar years. As part of this process, all existing schools will need to first complete and submit a 2025 Gateway Activity Plan (click here) along with a high-resolution copy of your school logo (JPEG or PNG) and the name and position on the staff member who will sign the MOU (Principal, HOD
or another approved staff member). Please ensure your GAP, school logo and details of the person signing are emailed to Sabrina Kerr (sabrinakerr@checkup.org.au) by COB Friday 21 February 2025. Once all is received, a new MOU will be prepared and sent back for electronic signing. A signed copy (scanned or e-signed) will need to be sent back to Sabrina to formally execute the partnership. Once the MOU agreement is executed, your students and staff will have access to all our services, support and the events hosted by CheckUP. Your relevant Health Gateway Coordinator will be in touch with you once the MOU has been executed to discuss strategies to support your
school moving forward. See image below image outlining the MOU process.
For any schools who wish to opt out of the Health Gateway Program, please advise the team as soon as possible and we will ensure your relevant Health Gateway Coordinator contacts you to discuss this further. We look forward to working closely with our Health Gateway Schools this year and effectively supporting each and every one of you (with a particular emphasis on schools who may not have received a lot of opportunities in that past).
