Santa's Plan for Christmas

Our Christmas promotion has launched and we thought we would provide you with a short update. 

Media call

We held a media call today to launch our Christmas promotion and help spread the word about our volunteers and the helpful role they will play. Our thanks to Nicky from Tas-Saff and Susannah from PamperSweet Soap Cakes and Beauty Products for bringing some of their gift ideas along to help us promote the market.

Christmas Gift Guides

The gift guides are now live on our website but we need more!

If you want your products added to the gift guides please send us some photos. We would love to keep adding products to these to make them bigger.

Santa's Salamanca Helpers

Our volunteers will be helpful Christmas elves and will be helping our customers find gift ideas and help people find stalls within the market. If people are not sure what to get someone for Christmas, they can pop along and see one of our volunteers who will consult Santa's list and suggest some ideas.

Photos with Santa

To bring some Christmas cheer to the market, Santa will be visiting the market on the 16 and 23 December for family photos. This helps bring a happy element to the market and encourages local families to visit and shop while they are there.

Radio promotion

We will be running some radio adverts in the first few weeks of December to help promote the market on HIT and MMM radio stations.

Digital adverting in car parks

We will be advertising the market in all of our City of Hobart multi-story car parks and also in the Mall Booth and Tasmanian Travel and Information Centre.

Social media adverts

We will also be running social media advertising during December to help encourage people to visit the market for their Christmas shopping. Our goal will be to target those in the greater Hobart area to reach our local audiences.
