Dear SAFIM Friends, Time flies when you're having fun! For SAFIM, the first quarter of 2023 has been host to: 1 milestone gala, 4 inspiring art events, an exceptional 10th edition of the Investec Cape Town Art Fair, and 2 toe-tapping evenings of Buddy Holly at Artscape Theatre. It's been a pleasure engaging with members in both Cape Town and Johannesburg, and we look forward to sharing many more art-focused events together. In May, SAFIM will host our landmark 120th event – a dynamic, cross-country virtual art event in partnership with the Israel Museum, Jerusalem. Read on for more on this and other upcoming events.
Between 4–7 June, the Israel Museum, Jerusalem will once again host their highly anticipated International Executive Council (IEC), featuring keynote speaker Rashid Johnson – a leading US-based contemporary artist. View the full programme below.
We hope to see you at these, and many more insightful events throughout 2023!
