IowaGrants.gov Planned Outage from December 2-12, 2022New Interface Launches on December 12, 2022 What is happening? A New IowaGrants platform will go live on Monday, December 12, 2022, at 8:00 a.m. The electronic grant management system known as IowaGrants.gov is upgrading the system platform. The transition to the new system requires a migration of data for the participating state agencies, including Iowa HHS. This means there will be a period of time when the system is down and inaccessible while data is being transferred from the old system to the new system. The downtime will be from 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 2, 2022, through 8:00 a.m. on Monday, December 12, 2022. During the downtime, no one, whether internal (HHS) or external users (e.g., DSP, Principal Investigators, staff members), will have access to either system (old or new). What will change and what will the new system look like? The new IowaGrants system will have many of the same features and capabilities of the current system, but with a different appearance. When you log in to the new IowaGrants platform, you will see that all menu components are listed on the left-hand side of the screen. The main page will now be the Dashboard which will display upcoming Work Assignments. Take a look at the new system platform, including highlights of new features, by watching this brief video. Note: If the video is fuzzy click the Gear Icon for Settings to change the Quality to 720p. What can I do now to prepare for the transition?
Want to see an overview of the new IowaGrants platform before the launch date of December 12? Two sessions will be offered to review the new IowaGrants platform. These Zoom sessions will require registration as there is a limit of 300 participants for each session. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. Both of these sessions will be recorded and available to be viewed at a later time. Register in advance to attend one of the Zoom sessions for the IowaGrants Walk-Through/Overview (both sessions offer the same content): Thursday, November 17, 2022, from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. Thursday, December 1, 2022, from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. |
