Reminder: FORMS-G Grant Application Forms & Instructions Must be Used for Due Dates On or After January 25, 2022 - New Grant Application Instructions Now Available

Applicants must use FORMS-G application packages for due dates on or after January 25, 2022, and must use FORMS-F application packages for due dates on or before January 24, 2022 (see NOT-OD-21-169 for details).

Additional Updates:

  • FORMS-G Grant Application Instructions are now posted at How to Apply - Application Guide. All significant changes to form instructions are listed at https://grants.nih.gov/grants/how-to-apply-application-guide/forms-g/general/g.120-significant-changes.htm.
  • FORMS-G application packages are currently being posted to all active Funding Opportunity Announcements (FOAs). NIH expects to complete this process by late December 2021.
  • All FORMS-F application forms packages will be updated with a close date of January 24, 2022.
  • NOTE: Application due dates remain unchanged. Applicants must refer to the FOA for key date information.
 

Table: For a transition period, both FORMS-F and FORMS-G application packages will be active simultaneously. Applicants must choose the appropriate application package for their due date when presented with both FORMS-F and FORMS-G application packages on the same FOA (see table below).
